What's OPT's standard warranty?
OPT Electricians Tools provides standard service 1-year limited warranty to all our customers. The standard warranty will be valid within 1 year after your invoice date. During the warranty period, we will support f.o.c. spare parts &
technical support for repairing under normal use and service of our tools (Shipping cost will be charged by end-user), but some parts like dies, blades, batteries, rings… are consumables, they are all excluded from our standard warranty.
# Please read our manual before tool operation. Wear and prepare safety equipment according to your local’s laws and rules. We do not guarantee under unsafety use or any action in purpose.
Please also note that warranty does not apply if
- The warranty period is expired.
- The warranty label is broken or removed.
- The serial number label or laser mark is missing or unrecognizable.
- The tools have been modified or repaired by any unauthorized service center or personnel.
- The defect was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environment conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and specification.
- The defect was subject to Force Majeure, such as acts of God, flood, lighting, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, brownouts, or sags (damage due to low voltage disturbances)
# If the customer's product is not covered under warranty, we may offer Repair Services under the customer's payment.
If you would like to use your 1-year limited warranty, please contact our after-service team by e-mail email@example.com or contact through your local dealers/retailers/e-retailers or distributors. You need to provide following details, like your complete contact details, the date you bought the unit, where did you purchased from (channel’s name), the series no. of tool, complaint issue and other comment for reflection. Our service team will support you once getting your comment by e-mail within 1-3 days. The return of the defective product should be strictly through the original route of purchase, and the customers shall pack the product appropriately to prevent the returned product from suffering in the transportation. There are no user serviceable parts inside the product. Do not allow any unauthorized service center or personnel to repair or modify the product. If the original channel is no longer in business or unavailable, the customer may contact OPT Electricians Tools After-Service Team directly.
We also provide extra optional extended advanced warranty service for 1, 2, 3* additional years. But this will depend on the model you purchase. The product life setting of different products are not the same. Please double check with our after-service team. During the period of extra optional extended advanced warranty service, we will provide you special discount of purchasing hardware replacement.

# For OEM/ODM partner (not under OPT brand), please build your own after-service control and tracking system for end user. The above warranty is only valid with products with OPT brand. We also guarantee our OEM/ODM partner 1 Year-Standard warranty after your invoice date. But only contact between purchase window.
